Kathmandu, Sept 15 ,,   Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Ishwor Pokhrel has said all tiers of government should work in collaboration and unity to materialize the country’s dream of development and prosperity.
At a programme organized to mark the 12th anniversary of Modern Kanya Multiple College here today, DPM Pokhrel however said the governments formed after the huge political change was not working in a united manner to ensure prosperity. “However, government is working in full swing to address the issues mentioned in constitution with the enactment of laws,” he asserted.
According to him, government was planning a new education policy to make 70 percent of education vocational and technical. He hailed the role of the Modern Kanya Multiple College for providing education to the girl students from across the country in Kathmandu.
Senior culture expert and centenary person Satyamohan Joshi said all sides need to encourage and promote women education.
Chairman of the College Management Committee Prof Dr Ram Prasad Dahal said the College was set up to contribute to women education
