‘Teachers in Pokhara’ concludes

Pokhara, April 8 ,, ‘Teachers in Training’ programme concluded in Pokhara on Sunday adopting a 15-point declaration. The declaration, prepared with inputs from noted educationists of Nepal, highlighted the need to develop a robust educational community, frame time-relevant policy, reach out message to the concerned agency and further modernize education. The declaration is expected to play spectacular role in developing global citizens by overcoming 21st century challenges

On the occasion, education expert Prof Dr Bidhyanath Koirala, Professors of Kepitz University Netherlands, Yan Himens and Bat Tole presented working papers entitled ‘Framework of National and Local Curriculum in Today’s Context’, ‘Education and School in 21st Century’ and ‘A Moral Society’, respectively. As many as 120 teachers and 40 head teachers from schools of Kaski, Tanahun and Baglung had participated in the training, organised by National Teacher Skill Development Foundation Kaski and co-organised by Bhaskar Memorial School. The training was conducted on April 2-4.

On the same occasion, Shivashakti Campus and Kepitz University signed a Memorandum of Understanding on exchange of educational programme. —
