Lawmakers draw attention of govt in Appropriation Bill

Kathmandu, June 17 (RSS): Discussions are underway under different topics of the Appropriation Bill, 2075 in today’s House of Representative meeting.
Lawmaker Durga Bahadur Rawal, taking part in the deliberation, claimed that the government was not moving ahead as per the policy, procedures and system.
Likewise, lawmaker Raj Kishor Yadav said that the government was not acting liberally towards Madhes while Siraha district was paid less heed.
Similarly, lawmakers Bimal Prasad Shreebastab, Ghanshyam Khatiwada, Bimala Nepali, Renuka Gurung and Bina Devi Budhathoki drew attention of the government towards rising violence against women, lack of concrete policy on rural development, rampant degradation of forests and pollution in the rivers.
Also speaking on the occasion, lawmaker Til Bahadur Mahat said that the government was neglecting the Karnali Province.
