Awareness programme on Population census 2021 organized by the Muslim Commission

A public awareness program on the upcoming census has been organized by the Muslim Commission at Ayesha Girls College, Jhandanagar, Ward No. 3, Krishnanagar Municipality, Kapilvastu.

Member of the Muslim Commission Hon’ble Mohammaduddin Ali presided over the function as the chief guest. Member of the Muslim Commission Hon’ble Mirza Arshad Beg, Central President of the Muslim Etihad Organization Nepal Seraj Ahmed Farooqui, National President of the National Madrasa Association Dr Ghani Al qufi and general secretary Mashhud Khan Nepali, NCP Nagar chairman Javed Alam Khan, JSP Lumbini State Spokesperson Akram Pathan, Director of Embark International Mirza Rashid Beg and others was special guest

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Beg urged the Muslim Commission to work for the welfare of the Muslim community and move forward as per the suggestions given by the Muslim community.

The Muslim commmunity should take part in the census and all the members of the Muslim community should take the Muslim Commission. All Muslims in the East, West, North, South, Himalayas and Terai are equal and made it easier to raise the voice of the Muslim community by forming it said by Seraj Farooqui.

Speaking on the occasion, special guest Dr. Al Qufi, urged the Muslim community to include Urdu as the first language in the census and to name the children after the Muslim civilization and culture. He appreciated the work of the Muslim Commission in conducting public awareness program on the census even at such a time and appealed to all members of the Muslim community to participate in the census. He told the commission that the National Madrasa Association of Nepal was always ready to join hands and end caste discrimination among Muslims and all Muslims should fight for their rights and rights with the government through the commission.

Addressing the program, Maulana Mashhood Khan Nepali said that the Muslim community has been discriminated against in the budget of 2078/07 to increase the amount of grant given to the madrasas. He said that census should be conducted carefully and Urdu is an important language of the Muslim community. He said that the entire Muslim community should be brought forward together.

Speaking on the occasion, Zahid Azad requested to the muslim community when you are going to fill population census form, fill your name which gives to you the identity of muslims and fill your mother tongue Urdu.

Speaking on the occasion, Akram Pathan said, All those who have reached the age of majority in the Muslim community have raised the issue of citizenship through the Muslim Commission. They have demanded the formation of a Madrasa Board in Lumbini and a Madrasa Board in the entire Muslim-majority state through the teachers and religious leaders of the Madrasa. He suggested the Muslim Commission to spread public awareness about the census in the community. He said China did not even show the population of the Muslim community and that China was oppressing the Muslim community.

Speaking on the occasion, the chairman of the program, Hon’ble Mohammad Din Ali, said that the Muslim Commission would move forward without considering the suggestions of the speakers. He said that the Muslim Commission was formed for the benefit of the community and urged the entire community to be active in the census. He said that it was commendable that the program was being raised continuously and announced the end of the program.

Abdul Kalam Khan, Zahid Azad Jhandangari, Mahtab Alam, Abdul Noor Seraji , Maulana Zahir Ahmed Barelvi and others were present in the program.
