Kathmandu, June 14 (RSS): Two student organizations affiliated to the ruling Communist Party of Nepal have demanded the government to prepare work procedure for providing loan on students with their academic certificates as collateral.
The meeting of the organization held in the capital city Thursday welcomed the government’s scheme of providing loan to students with the security of certificates. Vice-President of Revolutionary Journalists Surendra Basnet informed that the Finance Ministry was requested to formulate the work procedure immediately. The Ministry was also urged to scrap the provision of loan on 5 percent interest, but on zero percent.
They also demanded the government and Nepal Oil Corporation to immediately withdraw the decision of price hike.
Similarly, the Ministry of Education was asked to implement the agreements made earlier.
