Rastriya Janamorcha urges to make contributions to Disaster Management Fund

Kathmandu, July 3 (RSS): Rastriya Janamorcha has set up Disaster Management Fund to collect amount in order to provide relief to landslide and flood victims.
Requesting for contributions to the Fund, Party Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC through a press release demanded the government, administration and local-bodies to make immediate arrangement of rescue and relief at disaster-hit areas.
The party also urged to adopt preparedness for the disaster to be occurred at hilly and Tarai areas due to rainfall.
According to the party, the Fund established by the party has so far collected assistance worth around Rs 8.1 million from Nepalis living in and outside the country. The Fund was established with an objective of helping victims of natural disaster including earthquake, flood, landslide and fire.
