National conference on economic development to kick off today

Bhaktapur, June 14   ,,  A two-day national conference entitled ‘Role of management in economic development’ is taking place in Bhaktapur today. Kwopa College Bhaktapur is organizing the event with the assistance of University Grant Commission. Rupak Joshi, principal of the host college, shared that it is the first-ever conference on the topic aiming to contribute to the overall economic development of the country. Total 34 working papers would be presented on several topics in the conference. The areas include accountancy, finance, marketing, financial market, labour relation, international trade, economic growth and development, human resource management, production and operation management, entrepreneurship development, banking and insurance and other topical subjects of management. As many as 100 participants are taking part in the conference, informed event coordinator Rajan Fanju.
