Buddha Air seeks permission to operate Nepalgunj-New Delhi flight

Kathmandu, June 22 (RSS): Buddha Air has submitted an application to Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari, seeking permission to operate Nepalgunj-New Delhi flight. The Air wants its ATR 72 to fly between the route three times a day (6:30am, 1:00pm and 5:10pm).
After receiving permission in this regard, process would be initiated to apply to the Civil Aviation Authority of India for permission to launch a flight, said a statement issued by the Buddha Air on Friday.
During the meeting with office bearers of the Buddha Air, Minister Adhikari responded that he was positive towards the matter. He also said Nepalgunj airport would be developed as regional international airport soon.
