Kathmandu, June 26 (RSS): Learning Realm International (LRI) School at Kalanki has honoured a 21-member delegation from the Beijing Education Commission which is currently on a visit to Nepal.
The delegation is led by Deputy Director of Beijing Education Commission, Yu Hai.
Chairman of the School, Shiva Raj Panta, honoured the delegation members by presenting them souvenirs.
On the occasion, the delegation members were provided information regarding the various activities including the extra-curricular activities like art and literature organised by the school as well as the curriculum being taught at different levels.
The delegation members also shared about the economic development taking place in China, the promotion of the Chinese language and its role in prosperity and the importance of culture and discipline.
Delegation leader Yu said his organisation would provide support for the development of quality education in Nepal which is a close neighbour of China. He said it is the policy of the Chinese government to provide cooperation to the countries included in the ‘One Belt One Road’ initiative.
The delegation is returning home today. It was in town in connection with organising the Beijing Education Fair which was held on Sunday.
