Truck plunges in to Trishuli

Chitwan, Aug 5 A truck laden with energy drink (Red Bulls) plunged into the Trishuli River from Jalbire of Narayangarh-Muglin road section. According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the truck (Na 5 Kha 5413) en route to Kathmandu from Birgunj veered off the road and plunged into the river at around 2.30 am this morning. The truck fell down around 70 metres at Ichhakamana rural municipality-6, Jalbire after it lost balance. Search for the truck is underway. Police said truck driver Mukesh Chaudhary, 32, of Chakarghatta rural municipality-5, Sarlahi had managed to jump off the truck and avoid any human casualty. Police said no human casualty took place as there was no one inside the truck. —
