Talpokhara, Rambhadevi Temple of Palpa listed as new tourist attractions

Bejhad, Palpa, Nov 7,,   Talpokhara (lake) and Rambhadevi Temple are new addition as part of the government’s campaign to identify the top 100 travel destinations in a bid to boost the tourism industry.
Under the campaign, potential tourist destinations that are shadowed due to various reasons would be explored to attract tourists. The Talpokhara has been recently turned into a lake on the initiatives of the locals, thus being the potential for a tourist attraction.
The locals have lauded the listing of Talpokhara and Rambhadevi Temple as tourist attractions. Earlier, Palpa’s historical Rani Mahal, a palace built by former Palpa governor Khadga Shamsher Rana over a century ago and Rrinagar Area have been declared as tourist destinations.
