Biratnagar, March 22 ,, The State-1 government has announced that it would provide Rs 200 thousand to each player if the Nepali national team if it won the Fifth SAFF Women Football Championship held for the first time in the country.
The State-1 Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers today decided this, Chief Minister’s press advisor Dhruba Subedi said.
As per the decision of the Council of Ministers, the State-1 government has announced to give Rs 100 thousand to each team member if the Nepali team becomes the first runner-up team, to motivate the players.
Nepal and India are meeting in the final of the Championship today. The championship started on March 12. Similarly, the Biratnagar Metropolitan City has also announced to give prize if Nepal became the group winners. The championship is held at the Martyrs Stadium in Biratnagr.
