Kathmandu, June 17(RSS): Absence of concerned ministers during the discussions over various headings (related to four ministries) of the Appropriation Bill 2075 BS today compelled Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara to draw their attention towards that end.
During the discussions, Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Thammaya Thapa; Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lalbabu Pandit; Minister for Urban Development Mohammed Istiyak Rai; and Minister for Forest and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet were not present.
The Speaker put off the meeting by 15 minutes after lawmaker Amresh Kumar Singh questioned over the meaning of meeting not attended by concerned ministries.
