Banepa, July 30 ,, The Division Forest Office Kavrepalanchowk has awarded three community forests and three leasehold forests in recognition of their best performances in the fiscal 2075/76 BS. Based on the performance evaluation, Ranikot Murali Khola community forest users group of Panauti municipality-1, Ryale stood first and bagged cash prize of Rs 6,000 with letter of appreciation. Likewise, Salle community forest users group of Banepa municipality-11 clinched second position and received cash prize of Rs 4000 with letter of appreciation. Khanikhola rural municipality-7 based Boranddanda community forest users group stood third and got cash prize of Rs 2,000. Meanwhile, the leasehold forests awarded are Farsiko Pahiro forest users group of Panauti municipality-1, Ryale, Paharepani forest users group of Banepa municipality-3 and Sankhedhunga forest users group based in Namobuddha municipality-3. The users groups which stood first, second and third were awarded with Rs 6,000, Rs 4000 and Rs 2000. The district has total 577 community forest users groups and 460 leasehold forest users groups.
