Siraha road accident death toll rises to three

Lahan, Nov. 23 ,,   The death toll of Siraha bus accident has reached three. Two more persons died while receiving treatment this morning, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Area Police Office, Mirchaiya Sukdev Khanal said.
Ram Brikshya Saha, 65 of Haripur Municipality died in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKHS) while Rajendra Chaudhary, 35, of Kabilashi Municipality in the district Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.
Earlier, 45 years old Jagadish Thakur of Haripur Municipality, Sarlahi died in the bus accident occurred on Thursday night near Kamala Bridge located at Karjanha Municipality-2 along the East-West Highway.
According to police, the pilgrims carrying bus (Na 4Kha 4825) from Sarlahi and the west bound mini-truck (Na 5 Kha 3940) collided head on, injuring more than 40 passengers.
DSP Khanal shared that seriously injured three persons are sent to BPKHS, Dharan for further treatment while others are receiving treatment at Phoolkumari Mahato Hospital in Karjanha.
