Kathmandu, July 11 (RSS): The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Secretariat meeting has convened at the Prime Minister’s official residence at Baluwatar a while ago aimed at giving final shape to the party’s regulations.
The Secretariat meeting is held to take forward the process for merging the party’s various sister organisations as per the interim statute of the party following the party unification.
A task force comprising leaders Bamdev Gautam, Ram Bahadur Thapa and Bishnu Poudel, constituted to prepare the final draft of the regulations based on the feedback given by the Standing Committee meeting, has already submitted its report to the party leadership.
The NCP was formed following the unification between the then CPN (UML) and the then CPN (Maoist Centre) on May 17.
It may be noted here that the NCP had announced that it will complete the merger of the two parties’ provincial committees, the district committees, Nepali migrants’ organisations abroad and the people’s class organisations within three months of the party unification.
