Kathmandu, June 13 (RSS): Lawmakers have put their view on various contemporary issues in today’s Parliament meeting.
Speaking in a special hour of the meeting, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Rajendra Prasad Lingden drew the attention of the government to specify the dual provision of foreign aid and government budget under some headings. He referred to some international non-governmental organisations showing interest unnecessarily in some issues.
Prabhu Sah called for the attention of the government to the abduction and subsequent murder of a 12 years old child in Katahariya Municipality of Rautahat recently, demanding action against the guilty.
Likewise, Durga Poudel drew the attention of the concerned authorities to predicaments facing Nepali migrant workers in foreign countries.
Lawmakers Eklal Miya and Ruhi Naj demanded declaration of a national public holyday on Eid, a Muslim religious festival, while Prem Suwal exposed the problems of tillers.
Ganesh Pahari demanded fulfillment of the demands of survivors of the earthquake of April, 2015 from Sindhuli and of farmers affected by the Mid-Hill Highway expansion.
Similarly, Laxmi Kumari Chaudhary urged timely completion of Dhangadhi-Attaria six lanes road project.
