Health Minister pledges to expand Bheri Zonal Hospital’s services

Nepalgunj, June 25 (RSS):Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, has said the Nepalgunj-based Bheri Zonal Hospital would be expanded as per the necessities of Province 5 and of the Karnali Province.
While inaugurating the Dexa Scan and Bone Health Osteoporosis Clinic at the hospital today, the Health Minister said processes had been initiated to further advance uses of technology in the hospital and make its service delivery effective.”The federal government has realised the need of an advanced hospital in Nepalgunj and has initiated a process towards that end.”
Urban Development Minister Mohammed Ishtiyak Rai stressed the need of improving hospital’s service delivery as per the demand of time. Hospital Development Committee chair Dr Usha Shah chaired the programme while medical superintendent Dr Prakash Thapa apprised the Minister of the status of the hospital.
