Grade 12 board exams begin

Bhaktapur, April 28  ,, The Board exam of grade XII commences today across the country simultaneously. The exam has been scheduled from 7:00 am. A total 1,107 exam centers have been set up. A total of 428,052 students (regular; partial and for grade improvement) are sitting for the exam to conclude on May 9, said National Examination Board’s controller of the examination Krishna Prasad Sharma.
The highest numbers of students in the exams are from Kathmandu district- 62,588 and the lowest number from Manang- 59.
Special arrangements are in place for those students with hearing deficiency, visual impairment or other sorts of disabilities. Similarly, provisions are mare for those employees remaining in jail or child correction centres.
The Board has put all the exam centers under the surveillance of CCTVS for exam integrity. Centre superintendents are not allowed to carry a mobile phone while supplying question papers from a room inside the police cordon to exam halls. Besides, a system has been developed to receive the information about exam across the country.
A total of 34,490 human resources have been mobilised for conducting the exam.
Similarly, preparations for the Grade XI board exam will be beginning from May 12 and preparations towards that end have completed.
