Gandaki Province CM grieves over dead in helicopter crash

Pokhara, Feb 28 ,,  Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Prithvi Subba Gurung has expressed his sorrow over the killing of people including Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Nepal Communist Party central member Rabindra Adhikari in the Taplejung helicopter crash.
“I am grieved by the sad news. The death of Minister Adhikari has caused an irreparable loss not only to Gandaki Province, but to the whole country. The country has lost a visionary and active youth leader,” he said in a condolence message today.
“Minister Adhikari proved himself to be a responsible and dedicated people’s representative. He also carried out his duty with due responsibility, be it his stint as President of the Parliamentary Development Committee or Culture Minister.”
The helicopter of Air Dynasty crashed at Darebhir of Taplejung district at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, killing all on board including pilot Prabhakar KC. Other dead include Managing Director of Yeti Airlines, Aang Tshiring Sherpa, Deputy Director General of Civil Aviation Authority Nepal, Birendra Prasad Shrestha and Director Dhruba Bhochhibhoya, Undersecretary of the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Yubraj Dahal and security guard of Minister Adhikari.
