Baniyani, Jan 9,, Property worth Rs 1.2 million was gutted in two separate incidents of fire in Jhapa district.
Spokesperson of District Police Office Mahendra Kumar Shrestha informed that the fire caught at the house of Balaram Murmu of Jhapa Rural Municiplaity-6 caused loss of property of Rs 300,000.
Likewise, fire destroyed physical property of Rs 900,000 in another incident that occurred at Mechinagar-4, Pathibhara Tole. Fire engulfed the house of Rajkumar Majhi causing a loss of Rs 900,000, shared the District Police Office. —
