Far-west state setting up field offices for tourism development

Attaraiya, April 8,, The Far-west state is planning to set up three field offices for facilitating in development of tourism in the state. The State Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment is to set up one field office at Baitadi to look after tourism in Baitadi, Darchula and Dadeldhura districts, another field office at Doti to look after tourism development in Doti, Achham, Bajhang and Bajura and the next field office at Kailali looking after tourism in Kailali and Kanchanpur districts.

The Ministry stated that the field offices are being established to facilitate in implementing the budget by setting up new structure citing difficulty in budget implementation for lack of structure under the state. The state ministry has allocated budget to more than 400 tourism projects in the current fiscal year. —
