Kathmandu, June 18 (RSS): Nepali Congress (NC) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior neurosurgeon Dr Upendra Devkota.
In a condolence message today, the main opposition party has said that the passing away of Dr Devkota, who saved the lives of thousands, has incurred irreparable loss to the nation.
The NC said that the demise of Dr Devkota has caused a big loss in the medical field in South Asia. A meeting of the NC central committee held in Hetauda had also observed a minute silence in memory of Dr Devkota and expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.
