Dadeldhura, April 10 ,, At least 23 passengers sustained injuries in a road mishap in Dadeldhura on Wednesday morning. A commuter bus (Na 4 Kha 6836) en route to Bajura from Attariya of Kailali met with an accident at Amargadhi municipality-11, Sallaghari at 2.00 am today.
Police informed that 22 injured are normal while one is in critical condition. Critically injured, Shanti Diyal, 61, of Kanchanpur Krishnapur was rushed to Dhangadhi for further treatment, according to the District Police Office Dadeldhura. Other injured are being treated at Dadeldhura Hospital. Police speculated that the accident might have taken place after bus lost its control. Most of the passengers onboard were returning home for celebration of New Year and Bishu festival.
