Gorkha, March 10 ,, Leader of the major opposition at National Assembly, Surendra Raj Pande, has commented that it was positive that the political force led by CK Raut advocating for disintegration has finally entered mainstream politics.
During a press meet organized by Press Union Gorkha chapter here today, leader Pande argued that the political force that protested the constitution earlier and now joining the political activities in line with the constitution should be taken positively.
He, however, said the government needs to make public the official stand of the agreement made with CK Raut. “The point of the agreement and CK Raut’s tweet differed, which would create dispute,” he underscored.
On a different note, he said the Nepali Congress would not hold special general convention merely because some leaders issued statement for it. “Nepali Congress is exercising the democratic practice more than needed at present, which is not good for the party,” he claimed.
Leader Pande further said although there is the provision that party can hold special provision, there was still one year left for the periodic convention. “So, why some leaders are in hurry and making statement on minor agenda,” he wondered.
