Ranjha, Jan 14 ,, Province-5 lawmaker Mohammad Yakub Ansari has been elected the chair of Nepal Herbal Entrepreneurs Association.
Ansari defeated his contender Sakil Ahamad Jasgadh to get elected to the post for the third time. Ansari got 98 votes against Ahamad’s 61, according to the vote count results made public on Sunday.
Likewise, Yunus Halwai secured the post of Vice-chair with 85 votes while his close rival Man Bahadur Oli obtained 73.
Other elected in the committee are Mohammad Rahis Halwai (general-secretary) and Mohammad Aslam Halwai (treasurer). —-
