Butwal, March 11 ,, An unidentified gang killed a youth in Devdaha municipality in Rupandehi district on Sunday night.
Police said that 20-year-old Anish Puri of Devdaha-5 was attacked by an unidentified group while he was driving his motorbike to Bhaluhi from Khaireni on Sunday night, Deputy Superintendent of Police Dil Bahadur Malla of the Area Police Office Butwal said.
It is said that Puri was attacked with rod and stones. He was rushed to the Devdaha Medical College for treatment but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Malla said some people have been detained for interrogation in this connection.
