President Bhandari and Japanese PM Abe meet

Japan, Oct 21  President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Japanese Prime Minster Shinzo Abe held a meeting at State Guest House Akasaka Palace in Tokyo this morning. Also present on the occasion were Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi, Nepal’s Ambassador to Japan Prateeva Rana, Secretary at President’s Office Dr Hari Poudel, President’s personal secretary Dr Bhesh Raj Adhikari and high-placed officials of Nepal and Japan. A Nepali delegation led by President Bhandari had arrived Japan’s capital, Tokyo, on Sunday to attend the Japan’s Emperor Naruhito’s enthronement ceremony. President Bhandari arrived here on Sunday night after wrapping up her five-day state visit to Myanmar at the friendly invitation of the President of Myanmar, U Win Myint. The enthronement ceremony is taking place at Imperial Palace at 1.00 pm local time on October 22. The Nepali delegation is scheduled to return home on October 23 after attending the enthronement ceremony
