Doti, July 24 ,, A passenger jeep met with an accident this morning at Khodpe in Baitadi, killing one on the spot. The District Police Office, Baitadi identified the deceased as Ishwari Nagari, of around 35 years of age, of Aarubata of Patan municipality-8, Baitadi. Others two Hikmat Samant (Saud) of around 24 years of age and Pushkar Nagari, 24, of Mahakali rural municipality-9 have been injured. According to DPO Baitadi officiating chief and police inspector Deepak Bahadur Patali, the jeep (Ga 1 Jha 5224) was en route to Dhangadhi when it fell some 400 meters down the road possibly due to adverse road condition and weather. Details surrounding the accident are awaited. The accident happened at around 5:15 am today, police said.
