Good Samaritan couple set up revolving fund worth Rs 3.3 million

Tanahu, June 30   ,,  A local social worker couple at Aanbukhaireni in Tanahu district have donated Rs 3.3 million to set up revolving funds in various schools and temples in Gorkha and Tanahu districts. In order to support educational and religious pursuits in both districts, Ishwor Malla and his spouse Nil Kumari Malla set up the Ishwor and Nil Kumari Revolving Fund in nine schools and temples. Their son Bipin Malla informed that his parents contributed from Rs 200,000 to Rs 500,000 in various schools and temples including Manakamana Secondary School at Lakhan Rural Municipality-3, Ram Shah Secondary School at Aanbukhairani Rural Municipality-3, Akala Secondary School at Palungtar Municipality-8 and Ganga Dharma Primary Secondary School at Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipalaity-3 in Gorkha district. Similarly, the couple instituted the fund for the construction of Kulayan Temple at Gorkha Rural Municipality-13, Bakreshwor Mahadev Temple in Gorkha, Krishna Temple in Aanbukhairini and Tribeni Mai Temple at Kurintar in Gorkha. The couple, on the occasion of recently held annual general meeting of the Ramyug Malla Foundation at Aanbukhairini, said that the revolving fund would be used in supporting teaching-learning activities in schools and help preserve the temples.
