Surkhet, Dec 2,, Chief Minister of Karnali province Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has expressed sorrow over the bus accident that took place in Gajoni of Surkhet on Saturday and paid heartfelt tributes to those who lost their lives in the incident.
Janaki Darlami,40, and Deu Maya Bankati,22, of Lekbesi municipality-8 were killed in the accident involving a passenger bus. “I am concerned about the increasing spate of road accidents in the recent past,”, he has said in the condolence message.
He has also wished eternal peace to the departed souls while extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. Also on Saturday night, the Chief Minister met those injured in the accident in hospital and wished them speedy recovery.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also directed the hospital administration to ensure no lapses in the treatment of those injured, after the relatives of the injured complained of negligence in the medical treatment.
