Humla, Dec 4,, Adanchuli rural municipality-4 has distributed blankets to 72 people of its ward to save them from the chilling cold.
Ward Chairperson Bishnu Thapa said that the blankets were distributed as per the ward’s Social Security Programme.
The ward on Monday provided the blankets to 22 senior citizens, 24 single women and 13 persons with disabilities, said ward chairperson Thapa.
The ward distributed the blankets worth Rs 200,000 allocated from annual budget of the current fiscal year.
